KAPIHAN with Real Estate Brokers held at City Sports Club, Cebu Business Park last February 5, 2009 attended by more than 60 licensed brokers. Kapihan is sponsored by Cebu’s top developer Commonwealth Estates Inc. and is a regular meeting to share the views and opinions of current market trends that may have an impact in the real estate industry. It was a privilege for the participants as the speaker for that affair was no less than a certified international property specialist, a world renowned realtor and marketing guru for real estate marketing no less than Land Asia Group of Companies Chairman Realtor Ricardo “Ric” Inting, CIPS. The speaker talked about the real estate market trends both in the Philippines and the global market forecast since the distinguished speaker is Las Vegas based and has networks in other countries in Southern America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Inting also discussed about the baby boomers in the US that could be the key to investments here in the country likewise the US economic slowdown and its impact to the real estate industry. With the current downturn in the economy Realtor Ric Inting however made a bold analysis that Cebu will not be affected because of the total package Cebu can offer to investors like medical tourism, BPO’s, vacation and retirement haven and recreation centers to attract both foreign and domestic tourist. Foreign investment for Philippine commercial real estate and international buyer prospects’ non-purchase were also discussed.
